Nikki and Kat had a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by loved ones and I was lucky enough to be invited to their reception in Christchurch. For their wedding present, I did a sunset photo shoot with them around the priory. It only took 30 minutes, but they enjoyed every second of it, even taking the time to wave to their guests from a hilltop.

Capturing their special love was an honor for me as a photographer. It's always a joy to give the gift of photography to friends. I aim to capture stylish, candid, and beautiful moments, with a modern touch, in Dorset and Hampshire as a wedding photographer.

You, me and the little one makes three!

This engagement shoot with Lynette, Ash, and their son Hugo was a blast! We wandered through the bluebells and Hugo kept us on our toes, leading the way and finding cool spots for photos.

Even though Hugo was the star of the show, we managed to capture some sweet moments between Lynette and Ash amidst the flowers. When the shoot was over, the family eagerly awaited the results of our woodland adventure.

Sailing Together

The sky cleared just in time for Hannah and Wooseob's wedding on the rooftop of The Royal Yacht Club in Sandbanks. Surrounded by loved ones, they celebrated their special day with bubbles and a boat cruise around the bay.

It was a beautiful fusion of two families and cultures in the sunshine. Capturing candid and beautiful moments like these is what modern photography is all about. As a Dorset and Hampshire wedding photographer, I am grateful to have been a part of such a magical day.

A Bluebell Romance

After a rainy start, we headed out into the bluebell woods for a stroll through the beautiful countryside. I found out that Kerry and Jason both love wildlife photography, so it was gratifying to know that they chose me to shoot their wedding next year.

The couple relaxed and had fun in the woods for their portraits. Kerry even put on my wellies to walk deeper into the bluebells and sheltered under my umbrella when the rain started up again! I am so happy with how their photos turned out and I hope they love them too and have a wonderful memory to last them until the wedding.

A Magical Surprise

It was early April when Sinjay contacted me with an exciting plan to propose to his beautiful girlfriend Simran on Bournemouth beach in May. A week of rain added drama to the buildup, but luckily the sun came out for the big moment. Sinjay told a few little white lies to surprise Simran. She was under the impression that he was still in Birmingham having a night out with the boys, while she was having her girls trip to the beach with her bestfriend who led her down to the sand.

To a crowd of onlookers and a nervous Sinjay- she said YES surrounded by flowers and a lit-up "marry me" message in the sand. The crowd cheered as the couple celebrated....

A New Opportunity

It was at the Hilton Wedding fair that I first heard about Karamcations, a private garden venue known for its personal touches. Naturally my interest was peaked so when I got home I did some research and reached out to Kitty, the owner. She invited me to come visit her and see what the venue has to offer.

When I arrived, Kitty greeted me warmly and invited me inside for a cup of tea. She showed me around the beautiful bridal suite, equipped with plenty of space and a dedicated dressing room for all your hair and makeup needs. We had a great chat and connected over our shared interests in animals, events, and of course, weddings....

A Dramatic Engagement

After a busy day at the Highcliffe Castle wedding fair, I had the pleasure of meeting with Magda and Sam for their engagement shoot. Despite the misty rain and strong wind, the couple, who are from London, were eager to push on. They looked so in love with the backdrop of crashing waves and dark skies!

As we wrapped up the shoot and the light began to fade, I couldn't resist capturing a few shots of them practicing their first dance. The moment was so beautiful, it felt like a shame not to capture it with the imposing castle lit up behind them.

The Grand Opening

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend the private opening of The Sherborne, a new arts destination with a rich history. The Thornhill Mural, canvas, and sculptures are just some of the things you can experience there.

In addition to the art, The Sherborne also offers spaces for events, private hire, and flexible working. The restaurant and bar serve locally sourced British food, and the shop features artisanal products.

Soon, The Sherborne will be available for wedding bookings. Just imagine having your portrait taken on the staircase!

Bingles Beach Adventure

I had a great time meeting Ben and Geri at Sandbanks Beach with their adorable fur baby, Bingles the Corgi! We had a lovely winter walk, and I got to learn lots about the couple and their love story. Ben also shared stories about his childhood holidays in Dorset and how they were so excited to be returning for their upcoming wedding at The Italian Villa.

The photoshoot was full of fun, with Bingle being the center of attention. But Ben and Geri also shared sweet romantic moments on the beach, which I captured with my candid photography style and, with some gentle encouragement from me, they became the stars of their engagement shoot...

Castle Love Story

Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting Mark and Kerri at Jadie and Rob's wedding at Radipole Manor, and hit it off straight away with the outgoing bridesmaid and her lovely husband to be! The couple was friendly and kind, and I instantly connected with them. When they booked be I was thrilled and we decided to do their engagement shoot at Wallingford Castle and the nearby nature reserve in Oxford, which provided a breathtaking backdrop for capturing their love.

Manor House Celebration

Hello everyone! Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing Jadie and Rob's special day at Radipole Manor, alongside my seconder, Becky Takes Photos. It was a fun-filled day from start to finish!

The day started in the bridal suite where Jadie and her sister put the final touches on her outfit. Then, they headed downstairs for a first touch with Rob to calm their nerves before the beautiful ceremony. The highlight was definitely the epic confetti tunnel on the lawn!

A Registry Romance

I had the pleasure of capturing Kristina and Ben's special day at the Newbury Town Hall. The intimate ceremony was held in the historic Council Chamber surrounded by their loved ones. After exchanging vows, the couple walked out to a shower of confetti before we headed to the Avon Canal for a fun photo session.

The reception took place at the Newbury Rugby Club, where laughter filled the air despite the rain. The kids especially enjoyed the bouncy assault course, and even a few adults joined in on the fun.....

A Candid Affair

Laura and Dan's summer wedding was a beautiful affair that started at The Captains Club hotel. The bride and her bridesmaids had a special first look moment with her parents before heading to St Marks church for the ceremony. The intimate ceremony included their children, close friends, and family, and ended with an exciting bubble exit.

After the ceremony, the couple made their way to Highcliffe Social Club for cake cutting and speeches. Before the reception, they snuck off for some intimate photos in their garden. …

Amy and Sam recently had a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony with only their close friends and family at the Weymouth Registry Office. After exchanging their vows, they were whisked away in a stunning vintage car to Upwey House.

It featured two talented dancers who played the roles of our bride and groom models and the theme we chose was a romantic 'pic nic on the beach' for Valentine's Day.

A Registry by the Sea

Proof that having a small, registry office wedding is just as romantic and meaningful as a big fancy party. You don't need to look any further than Meca and Johns intimate vows at the registry office in Southampton. This booking came to me in a slightly unconventional route, as I was booked by a group of their close friends and as a surprise! Not only did their friends not want them to miss out on capturing the special memories of the day, but I'm sure the limited capacity had those curious pals wanting to see the beautiful ceremony as well! Ghost Brides - Never Ending Love

This is shoot has been formulating in my mind for some time and I am so excited to finally bring this concept to life at my favourite time of the year. This idea is very much a reflection of my own interest in classical and romantic literature and films, how love has been portrayed as eternal and what that would mean for those truly forever in love with their soulmate. The idea of two people finding love and committing to one another, and that love surpassing the boundaries of time, is a powerful symbol of love and unity and one which my former gothic self would ponder over while watching, The Crow and Crimson Peak (two of my favourite films). ...
